The Why

Here is my all time favourite picture ever, it’s of my nan and me. Squatting on a 70s lino floor in Druids Heath, Birmingham, UK. On our trips on the number 50 bus, she would point out all the significant places and moments in her life and I would piece together in my mind the history and the family that I came from.

From there began my nerdy, borderline obsessive love of history and genealogy. This page is to share my thoughts, musings and journey as I progress through my career. So enjoy!
